condom production process

ON! condoms are all made and tested according to the international quality standard for condoms ISO 4074: 2002. Best raw latex, stabilizers and fine dispersed vulcanization chemicals are homogenized and kept for a certain time in curing containers.

At the right degree the latex compound is fed into dip tanks of the production line.Formers made from glass are fixed to an endless chain and dip twice into two dip tanks were in between they are dried. The speed of the chain and the viscosity of the latex compound define the required thickness of the condom. After a brief drying period, the bead is formed by rotating brushes. Next the formers pass through the thermostatically controlled vulcanization oven, in which the raw condoms get its strength. Before stripping by automatic brushes, hot water with special ingredients in a leach tank loosens and swells and extracts surplus chemicals out of the rubber film.To get an even powderfinish the condoms are washed and coated with a silicon emulsion and powder compound in an industrial washing machine and later spin dried in a high speed spin drier to remove most of the remaining water. In a tumble drier the condoms are dried and surface-polished.
